A Non-Medical Programme for ADHD Emotional & Behavioural Regulation

NeuroRegulate™ is a structured, evidence-informed programme designed to support children and young people with ADHD who experience emotional outbursts, impulsivity, aggression, or difficulty managing behaviour.

The programme is non-medical and focuses on helping the child’s nervous system become more regulated, calm, and able to cope with everyday demands.

Why Regulation Comes First

Children with ADHD often struggle not because they are unwilling to behave appropriately, but because their brains and nervous systems become overwhelmed. When this happens, thinking skills switch off and behaviour often becomes reactive.

NeuroRegulate™ works by first helping the child’s body and brain feel safer and calmer. Once regulation improves, children are much better able to learn skills, follow guidance, and manage their emotions and behaviour.

Who the Programme Is For :

NeuroRegulate™ is suitable for children aged approximately 6–16 years who have ADHD and experience:

Frequent emotional outbursts or meltdowns

Impulsive or aggressive behaviour

Difficulty calming down once upset

Low frustration tolerance

Behaviour difficulties at home or school

Anxiety that affects behaviour

NeuroRegulate™ may not be suitable where a child is experiencing unmanaged trauma, active safeguarding concerns, or significant mental health risk without appropriate parallel specialist support in place.

Suitability is considered carefully prior to acceptance.

How NeuroRegulate™ Works

NeuroRegulate™ is delivered in structured stages, allowing each child to progress at a pace that suits their needs.

Entry to the programme may include a brief suitability screening to ensure that NeuroRegulate™ is the most appropriate support pathway for the child and family.

Stage 1: Sleep & Regulation Foundation

Good quality sleep is essential for emotional control and attention. All families complete NeuroSleep™ Advanced Sleep Profiling either before or alongside NeuroRegulate™. This helps us understand how sleep affects your child’s behaviour and ensures that expectations are realistic.

Stage 2: Understanding Your Child’s Behaviour

We carry out a detailed assessment to understand what triggers your child’s behaviour, what makes it worse, and what helps. This allows us to explain behaviour in a way that reduces blame and increases understanding.

Stage 3: Building Regulation Skills

Your child learns practical ways to calm their body and manage strong feelings. This may include sensory strategies, body-based calming techniques, and emotional awareness.

Stage 4: Attention, Impulse & Emotion Skills

Once regulation improves, we introduce skills to help with impulse control, attention, flexibility, and emotional decision-making.

Stage 5: Parent Support & Coaching

Parents receive guidance on how to support regulation at home, respond to difficult moments, and reduce escalation. This is not about blame or strict discipline, but about co-regulation.

Stage 6: School Support (Optional)

Where helpful, we can provide guidance to schools so that expectations and support are consistent across environments. School guidance is advisory and does not override school policies, statutory responsibilities, or disciplinary frameworks.

What This Programme Does Not Do

NeuroRegulate™ does not:

  • Replace therapy for trauma, abuse, or safeguarding concerns
  • Guarantee behavioural compliance or eliminate all difficulties
  • Override school policies or disciplinary frameworks
  • Remove the need for reasonable adjustments or accommodations
  • The programme focuses on building regulatory capacity, not enforcing behaviour

Integrated NeuroSleep™ + NeuroRegulate™ Programme

Includes sleep profiling, 8 child sessions, and 3 parent sessions

Option B

€2,150

NeuroRegulate™ Programme (Sleep Completed Separately)

Includes 8 child sessions and 3 parent sessions

Option C

€3,450

Extended Programme (Higher Complexity)

Includes sleep profiling, 10 child sessions, 4 parent sessions, and school guidance

Additional Supports

  • Optional reflexology sessions for nervous system calming: €420 (4 sessions)
  • School guidance summary: €180
  • School meeting: €250
  • Additional follow-up session: €180

Important note

NeuroRegulate™ does not provide medication or promise access to medication. It is designed as a safe, ethical, non-medical programme. A 50% deposit is required at time of booking, with the balance payable in instalments.

Please note: This programme does not replace direct clinical intervention where urgent mental health or safeguarding concerns are present.
